We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II position for our Jackson TN location.
Responsibilities:
This position serves in an advisory or consulting capacity coach to all levels of employees, contractors and plan management. The Engineer III will actively participate in the technical development for Engineer I, Engineer II, and maintenance personal. This position has direct responsibility for specific projects with medium complexity and values up to $5,000,000. Incumbent will be required to frequently and/or for an extended period of time travel to work on CAPEX projects.
Requirements
Four year college degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or any engineering related degree is required.
3
years of electrical engineering in manufacturing, or industrial setting.
Successful candidate must be able to apply engineering fundamentals to the continuous improvement efforts of Capital Projects and maximize the efficiency of the overall department operation.
Project management experience with capital projects ranging from $4,000,000-$5,000,000
This is hands on position working on the steel mill floor.
Experience with medium to high voltage equipment
PLC experience is required
Proficient in scheduling and experienced with MS Project 2010 and MS suite of tools.
Stellar communication and interpersonal skills required.
