Gerdau is currently seeking a Project Engineer for its Jackson, TN facility.
Responsibilities:
The Project Engineer is primarily responsible for developing, refining, and communicating the strategies and engineering information needed to optimize productivity and capital projects while ensuring the efficient and cost effective production of the final product.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial setting
Must have a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
Basic knowledge of engineering and construction techniques used in designing and constructing projects Good communication skills
Must be able to apply engineering fundamentals to the continuous improvement efforts of CAPEX and maximize the efficiency of the overall department operation Have experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with exposure to standardization and production quality
