Bilfinger Industrial Services, Inc. known as a leading provider of complex, comprehensive industrial services is seeking an Electrical Planner at our Jackson, TN location. This position requires a self-motivated individual to assist with the detailed planning and scheduling of construction work, and ensure that the project is constructed safely in accordance with all design, code, budget, and schedule requirements. This individual will be responsible for the detailed estimating, planning and scheduling of the electrical construction work to which they are assigned. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering information packages for constructability and completeness, and developing construction plans and other deliverables for the field and supervision.
The ideal candidate must possess a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, a two year Electrical Technician Diploma or 2 to 5 years electrical planning experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing plant construction.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills are required.
Familiarity with the latest version of the National Electrical Code and ability to obtain necessary licenses are required. NFPA 70E training and a TN electrical license are preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
