Essential Functions:
Recruitment:
Actively recruit for all open full-time positions using the internal job bid system and well as external sources such as job fairs, job boards, social media; coordinate interviews with prospective candidates and department leaders.
Coordinate the onboarding process including offer letters, background checks, drug screens, E-verify, direct deposits Conduct New Hire Orientation to introduce new hires to Pacific Manufacturing's policies, procedures Enter new hires into the Paycor system Assist new hires with Benefits including enrolling initially and open enrollment.
Assist HR Manager with Performance Evaluations process and Merit Increases Assist HR Manager with Retention and Turnover activities Injury/Illness Tracking-reporting injuries/illnesses to WC carrier, tracking WC paperwork from medical providers, completing WC forms such as C-42 and others Manager OSHA 300 Log Assist managers with disciplinary issues (back-up to HR Manager) Employee Relations Investigations (back-up to HR Manager) Assist with FMLA, ADA, STD paperwork and tracking (back-up to HR Manager) Back-up HR Generalist Temporary Management Program including orientations and entering in to Paycor QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 3-5 years HR experience in a manufacturing setting Proficient in Microsoft business applications (word, excel, power point, and access).
Data entry and file management experience.
Understands the importance of confidentiality.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Willingness to cooperate and work in a strong team environment.
Valid State Drivers License.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT Prolonged sitting.
Ability to lift boxes and supplies weighing between 5-25lbs.
ENVIRONMENAL CONDITIONS Primarily inside office environment.
Climate controlled.
Occasionally must enter the manufacturing plant with exposure to noise, heat, cold; must wear personal protective equipment (hats, glasses, shoes.
