5K a year Your Job The Dixie division of Georgia Pacific is seeking a Storeroom Associate for the Jackson, TN facility.
This position will maintain and execute the functions related to the KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) identified for the site.
Guidance will be provided by the associate to individuals interacting with storeroom systems as our AMWP (Asset Maintenance Work Processes) journey continues.
The storeroom inventory value for the Dixie division after the addition of Jackson will be approximately $27 million which consists of more than 20,000 individual part numbers.
This position will report to the Storeroom Lead for Dixie.

What You Will Do Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures Ensure the storeroom is organized through shelf/bin/parts identification Execute functions related to storeroom KPI's (receiving, putaway, pick, cycle count, repair, stock transfer, etc.
) Troubleshoot basic issues that arise due to the daily functions of the storeroom Assist process technicians/internal customers with issues related to inventory search Raise relevant issues to the Dixie Stores Management team and seek assistance to resolve Be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
on a daily basis Experience in using basic Microsoft Office applications (i.
e.
Excel, Word, Outlook) Possess the ability to obtain the skills in SAP to perform the following S4 storeroom functions:
Access Warehouse monitor Transfer inventory from location to location Maintain locations Create Inbound Deliveries Perform Physical Inventory Perform Physical Inventory Recounts Identify Stock locations Identify physical and available stock and detail difference between the two Locate Queues related to storeroom activities Receive via RF device Receive via MIGO Review part history utilizing MB51 Display Purchase Orders by material and supplier Display S4 stock overview Detail key components of material display (i.
e.
reorder point and MRP type) Created, display and change purchase requisition Maintain locations Display work orders Create Storage bins Sort Storage bins Print Material and Serial Labels Print Storage Bin Labels Run MRP Single level to create requisitions based on reorder point (MD02) Create warehouse tasks manually by product Goods issue product from storeroom Utilize Material Search Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) High school diploma or GED (2) or more years of leadership experience responsibility for delegating work to others within a manufacturing or military environment Experience with inventory management or warehouse operation What Will Put You Ahead Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management Knowledge of an inventory management system- specific to SAP interactions Experience communicating and collaborating in cross-functional teams such as maintenance, engineering, accounting, and purchasing to implement corporate initiatives.
