1K a year Claims Analyst The Standing Chapter 13 Trustee for the Western District of Tennessee, Eastern Division, Timothy H.
Ivy, is seeking an individual to fill a FULL TIME Claims Analyst position.
The Chapter 13 Trustee's Office administers the Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court, of the Western District of Tennessee, Eastern Division.
Job Duties- Reviews and processes incoming claims and determines appropriate actions.
Enters proofs of claim in our Chapter 13 system.
Prepares any objections to claims, transfers and assignments within our policy guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Work Characteristics- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Strong data entry skills, organizational and time management skills.
Reasoning ability required in decision making and applying relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Dependability is key.
Experience- The qualified applicant MUST possess a 4-year college degree and/or equivalent legal experience preferably in the field of bankruptcy.
