Interior Design Assistant

-Research and source high quality interiors products including bespoke items, fittings, soft furnishing, lighting, furniture, plumbing fixtures, accessories to a lead designers breif.
-Obtain products samples and organize paint schedules.
-Place and confirm orders with suppliers.
Oversee supplier production monitoring, quality and co-ordinate delivery slots.
-Receive deliveries on site and assist in their placement and installation to plan.
-Produce minutes of client meetings.
-Meet clients and exceed expected high standard of service.
-Action Interior Designer's instructions and keep them informed of progress - Draw up Interior Designers plans -Maintain an organized and tidy appearance of the studio, sample library and product store.
-Maintain Reception duties as needed.
Essential:
- Should be interested in interior design and willing to follow design directives and client requests.
- Willingness to take direction - Excellent organizational skills - Good communicator, confident dealing with a wide range of clients - Ability to manage schedules, oversee and manage projects.
- Able to deal firmly and fairly with contractors, consultants and clients.
- An ability to deliver results and see jobs through.
- Organized with a strong ability to read drawings and take measurements off.
- Ability to multitask - Marketing experience is a plus - Passion for aesthetics and quality - Willingness to learn Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
Up to $45,000.
00 per year Schedule:
8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
