This role will be responsible for all plant process design and launch, ongoing manufacturing engineering and lean/continuous improvement activities.
This role will have all Manufacturing/Industrial Engineers, Program Managers, CAD Designers, Tooling Engineers, Controls Engineers and Engineering Administrative staff reporting to it.
Primary responsibilities include:
Ensure program management and product launches are completed in a timely manner and meet the design intent and customer timelines.
Manage customer engineering procedures and requirements related to feasibility studies, durability testing, products validation, and FMEAS.
Support daily production requirements and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
Serve as customer liaison to ensure that all customer needs are achieved; function as a key player in the plant operation to support other departments from a technical standpoint.
Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred, and 7
years of automotive industry experience.
Candidates with experience in metal fabrication, complex assembly or welding processes would be considered a real plus.

$125,000.
